Curfew announced in Tank and South Waziristan, notification issued
Authorities have announced the imposition of a curfew in various areas of Tank and South Waziristan on March 19 due to security concerns. A formal notification has been issued in this regard.
Curfew in Tank
The district administration has officially announced a curfew in different parts of Tank, with a notification confirming the enforcement.
According to the notification, the curfew will be imposed in Kot Qila, Khargai, Manzai, Kariwam, and Jandola. The decision has been taken in light of potential security threats to the movement of security forces.

The curfew will remain in effect from 6am to 6pm on March 19. However, the route from Kot Qila to Wana via Gomal Zam Dam will remain open.
South Waziristan
Similarly, the district administration has announced a curfew in various parts of Upper South Waziristan due to security concerns. A notification has been issued outlining the affected areas.
As per the notification, markets in Azizabad Chowk, Sarwakai, Jandola, Kot Fort, and Dabbara will remain closed.
Additionally, curfew will also be imposed in Spin Masjid, Asman Manza, Ladha, Makeen, Razmak, Girdai, and Kharsheen. Security measures will also see curfews enforced in Bibi Raghzai, Kotkai, and Jandola.
Authorities have urged residents to use alternative routes and fully cooperate with security personnel to ensure law and order in the region.
