Partial curfew imposed in South Waziristan

Curfew to remain in effect from 6am to 6pm from Beni Zai Raghzai to Jandola

Authorities in South Waziristan have announced a partial curfew in various areas, set to be enforced from 6am to 6pm on March 17, 2025.

According to an official statement, the curfew will extend from Beni Zai Raghzai to Jandola, along with key routes in Upper and Lower South Waziristan.

The curfew will also be imposed on Tanai-Sarwekai and Jandola roads, while the Wana Zalai Camp to Cadet College route will remain closed for the day.

Movement will be strictly restricted on roads leading to Kot Qila, Manzai, Khargai, Ahmad Wam, and Jandola.

Officials said that the curfew has been imposed due to security force movements in the region.

The decision was jointly issued by the Deputy Commissioners of Upper and Lower South Waziristan, along with Tank District.
