Security forces kill 30 ‘Khawarij’ terrorists in intelligence-based operation in South Waziristan
Security forces, in an intelligence-based operation in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan, killed 30 “Khawarij” terrorists in a bid to eliminate the terrorist presence in the region.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched following reports of the presence of “Khawarij” militants in the area.
The security forces efficiently targeted the militants’ hideout, resulting in the death of 30 terrorists.
It said that a sanitisation operation was also conducted in the area to eliminate any potential threats and terrorists.

The security forces remain committed to eradicating terrorism from the country.
This operation comes after the martyrdom of five security personnel in the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the previous day when they were killed while attempting to rescue a relief convoy from a militant attack.
Among the martyrs, four belonged to the Frontier Corps (FC) and one was from the Pakistan Army.
In response to the growing attacks, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government announced a new operation against militants in Kurram following the martyrdom of these five security personnel.
