PM announces opening of Danish University on August 14 next year
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that Danish University will be opened on August 14 , 2026.
In a stone foundation-laying ceremony of the Danish University, the Prime Minister stated that the former Chief Justice claimed there is no connection to the £190 million, which has already been transferred to the national treasury.
He emphasized the commitment to making Pakistan a great nation.
He also stated that the university will provide higher education opportunities for students from all provinces.
The Prime Minister added that this funding will be used to establish a world-class university in the country.
He reiterated that the £190 million is now part of the national treasury and expressed his vision for transforming Pakistan into a great country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also highlighted that with hard work and determination, any dream can be achieved, assuring that admissions to Danish University will be based on merit.
He said that the university will focus on applied sciences and will operate similarly to the PKLI, emphasizing that there is significant talent among rural children.
Also, he shared that orphaned children will be benefiting from this institution, which will provide them with support and shelter.
In his speech, the Prime Minister mentioned that students from all over Pakistan will benefit from this university.
He warned that if children from rural areas are not educated, they will be wasted.
He asserted that the university will make a name for itself worldwide, covering an area of 100 acres. The university will hire highly qualified teachers, and he expressed gratitude to all the guests present.
