A suicide attack targeted a security forces convoy in Kalat, resulting in the martyrdom of a Frontier Corps (FC) soldier.

According to initial reports, four other FC personnel were also injured in the explosion.

The martyred soldier has been identified as Naik Attaullah, while the injured include Sepoy Wakeel, Zahid, Abbas, and Mushtaq.

Meanwhile, in Tunsa Sharif, terrorists launched a coordinated attack on two police checkpoints.

Police officials confirmed that heavily armed militants opened fire on the Basti Jade Wali and Lakhani checkpoints.

Security personnel responded forcefully, thwarting the attack.

Authorities stated that there were no casualties reported in the Tunsa Sharif incident.

However, law enforcement remains on high alert following the back-to-back militant assaults.
