Explosions in Hangu and Quetta leave one dead, seven injured
A series of explosions in Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, resulted in one fatality and left seven others injured, security sources confirmed.
In Hangu’s Orakzai Sama Mamoozai area, a blast occurred at a local market, killing one person and injuring four others.
Security forces and police swiftly sealed off the area to investigate the incident.
Meanwhile, another explosion on Quetta’s Gilani Road injured three people. Rescue teams promptly transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to police reports, the Quetta blast was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) containing two to three kilogrammes of explosives, which was planted on a motorcycle.
Meanwhile, a terrorist attack in the Nowshera mosque kills four, including the religious leader, during Friday prayers.
A suicide bomber targeted Darul Uloom Haqqania mosque in Akora Khattak, killing four people, including Maulana Hamidul Haq, son of the late Maulana Samiul Haq.
At least 20 others sustained injuries in the attack, which authorities attributed to khawarij terrorists. Emergency protocols have been activated in all hospitals across Peshawar.
