Security forces eliminate 7 khawarij terrorists in two separate operations in KP
In a major counterterrorism operation, security forces eliminated seven khawarij terrorists in two separate operations conducted in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations took place on February 23 in the Madi and Daraban areas following intelligence reports regarding the presence of terrorists.
Security forces effectively targeted the militants’ hideouts, resulting in the elimination of three terrorists in Madi and four in Daraban.
The ISPR confirmed that a significant cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain terrorists, who were allegedly involved in multiple attacks against security forces and the killing of civilians.

A sanitisation operation is currently underway to eliminate any remaining threats in the area.
Security forces have reaffirmed their commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari praised the successful operations, commending the bravery and professionalism of the security forces.
He reiterated that counterterrorism operations would continue until the complete eradication of militants, expressing national resolve to eliminate extremism.
