Federal government approves cabinet expansion

8 to 10 new ministers under consideration for inclusion

The federal government has decided to expand the cabinet, with the swearing-in ceremony expected on February 27 or 28. Sources indicate that the addition of 8 to 10 new ministers is under discussion, with the expansion likely to take place this week.

Prominent names under consideration include Hanif Abbasi, Bilal Azhar Kayani, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Khalid Magsi, and Mustafa Kamal, who have reportedly been finalized for cabinet positions.

Additionally, Pir Imran Shah, Sardar Yousuf, and Barrister Aqeel Malik are also being considered for ministerial roles.

Sources further reveal that Syed Tauqeer Shah will be appointed as an advisor, while Hanif Abbasi is expected to take charge of the Ministry of Railways.
