Atif Aslam delights fans with live performance of ‘Dil Se Re’ in Dubai
Renowned singer Atif Aslam recently enthralled audiences at his Dubai concert with a stirring rendition of Dil Se Re, the iconic song from the 1998 Bollywood film Dil Se, originally performed by AR Rahman.
The performance, set against visuals of Shah Rukh Khan, quickly gained traction on social media as fans praised Atif’s emotive delivery.
While sharing the video on Instagram, Atif reflected on the song’s deep significance, stating, “Some masterpieces y’all wanted to hear, but if there’s a heart, there’s also pain.”
He expressed his feelings about the past month, noting that January felt like a dormant period for him while February marks a fresh start filled with renewed energy.
“Dil Se Re,” a renowned song from the film Dil Se, features music composed by Rahman and lyrics written by Gulzar.
The track was visually represented on-screen by Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koirala. Vocalists Anuradha Sriram and Anupama also sang in the chorus for the original version of the song.

This is not the first time Jal Pari singer has sung an Indian music legend’s song. He also sang Kun Faya Kun while performing at the GIMA Awards in 2015.
