Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary and Ambassador to Afghanistan Rustam Shah Mohmand passed away on Friday.

Mohmand had been ill for some time. His funeral will be held on Shami Road in Peshawar at 4 pm.

He was considered an expert on Pak-Afghan affairs and was a regular speaker and writer on the subject. He was also well-respected as a bureaucrat and played a big role in setting up the administrative framework of the province.
