Japan airlines faces flight delays due to cyberattack
Japan Airlines announced that it has been targeted by a cyberattack, resulting in delays for several domestic and international flights.
The incident began at 7:24am local time and affected both the airline’s internal and external systems.
In response to the disruptions, Japan Airlines temporarily shut down a malfunctioning router and suspended ticket sales for flights scheduled to depart on Thursday.
Fortunately, ANA Holdings, another major Japanese airline, reported no impact on its systems from the attack.
