Authorities have shut down several sections of motorways M-2, M-3, and M-4 in Punjab due to dense fog that has significantly reduced visibility.

Motorway police reported that M-2 is closed from Thokar Niaz Beg to Kala Shah Kaku Interchange, as well as between Kot Momin and Lillah Interchange.

Additionally, the section from Thokar Niaz Beg to Babu Sabu remains shut.

Motorway M-3 is also closed from Samundri to Darkhana, and the Pindi Bhattian to Multan stretch is affected by the poor visibility.

The decision to close these routes was made with public safety in mind.
