New details revealed about Lahore’s ‘billionaire’ thief
New details have emerged regarding the arrest of a billionaire thief in Lahore.
Police sources reveal that the suspect, identified as Bilal, is responsible for a series of high-value burglaries over the past 15 years, culminating in his most significant heist in 2014: a Rs380 million theft from the home of a businessman in the Defence Housing Authority.
According to police, Bilal often committed these crimes using a bicycle, disguising himself as a delivery person. The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Organized Crime further revealed that Bilal had used the stolen money to purchase flats in Dubai.
Two accomplices have been identified and are expected to be apprehended shortly.
Despite his extensive criminal activity, this is Bilal’s first arrest in 15 years.
Remarkably, police sources claim that Bilal reportedly divided his stolen loot into three parts: one for the poor, another for impoverished relatives, and a third portion for himself.
