Sindh Govt initiates crackdown on fake plates, tinted windows, weapon display
The Sindh government has announced a decisive crackdown on vehicles with fake number plates, tinted windows, and the display of weapons.
The recent meeting was chaired by Chief Secretary Sindh, Asif Hyder Shah, where officials discussed strategies to tackle these issues. During the meeting, directives were issued for immediate action against vehicles violating these regulations.
Shah instructed the Home Department to launch a media awareness campaign to inform the public about the crackdown. Additionally, plans were made to establish community watch groups at the neighborhood level to strengthen community surveillance.
These community watch groups will operate under the supervision of Assistant Commissioners.
