The government has announced an increase in the Benazir educational stipends (Benazir Taleemi Wazaif) to support school-going children.

This adjustment will take effect from January 2025 and is set to benefit over six million students across the country.

The stipends will be provided to the mothers of students from nursery through grade twelve, requiring parents to register with the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) to qualify for the financial aid.

The initiative aims to encourage families to prioritize education while alleviating the financial burden associated with schooling.

Families enrolled in the BISP can apply for educational scholarships and will receive quarterly payments, along with additional educational support.

To facilitate the registration process, the BISP has launched a Resource Education App.

Parents must ensure that their ID card numbers match those on their children’s B-Forms to avoid any payment complications.
