US condemns terrorist attacks in Balochistan, reaffirms support for Pakistan

The United States strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan and affirmed its support for Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.

A spokesperson for the US State Department Matthew Miller stated in a press briefing that these attacks targeted security personnel and civilians, including 23 innocent people in Musa Khel.

He expressed condolences to the families of the deceased, highlighting the significant losses suffered by the Pakistani people at the hands of terrorists. Miller emphasized that the US and Pakistan have a mutual interest in addressing regional security threats and that they will stand together in the fight against terrorism.

He also mentioned that assisting Pakistan in addressing its energy shortages is a priority for the US, and discussions with the Pakistani government on energy-related issues are ongoing. Additionally, he advised against making business deals with Iran.

In response to a question, he noted that the U.S. will continue to enforce sanctions against Iran. He cautioned those considering trade agreements with Iran to be aware of potential repercussions.
