The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released fast bowler Aamir Jamal from the squad for the Test series against Bangladesh.

Aamir Jamal was included in the squad for the series against Bangladesh, but his inclusion was subject to fitness.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has stated that Aamir Jamal has been asked to work on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy.

The PCB has said that Aamir Jamal is recovering from a back injury, which he sustained during county cricket.

It is noteworthy that Kamran Ghulam and Abrar Ahmed have already been released, and they will play for Pakistan Shaheens in a four-day match against Bangladesh A from August 20 to 23.

It is worth mentioning that the first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played from August 21, while the second match will be played from August 30, and both matches will be held at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.

For the series against Bangladesh, Shan Masood has been appointed as the captain, and Saud Shakeel as the vice-captain.

The squad also includes Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam, Khurram Shahzad, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Haris, and Mohammad Rizwan. Additionally, Naseem Shah, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and Shaheen Afridi are also part of the team.
