The Lahore High Court has dismissed the objections raised by the Registrar’s Office against the bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and chairman Imran Khan in 3 cases from May 9.

A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court, comprising Justice Shehram Sarwar and Justice Amjad Rafiq, heard the petitions filed by Imran Khan challenging the cancellation of his interim bails in the 3 cases from May 9.

The court dismissed the objections raised by the Registrar’s Office against the bails of Imran Khan.

The Registrar’s Office had objected that the petitions did not contain Imran Khan’s thumb impressions, and one petition did not have a copy of the FIR.

Khan has challenged the decision of the Anti-Terrorism Court in the Lahore High Court, arguing that the trial court had canceled the bails in the May 9 cases against the facts.

The petition requested the Lahore High Court to grant interim bails to the PTI chairman.
