Pakistani actors Ahmed Ali Akbar and Durefishan Saleem are going to star in the second season of Salahaddin Ayyubi (Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi).

The Turkish series aired on TRT 1, tells the story of Salahaddin Ayyubi, the Muslim leader who liberated Jerusalem from the Crusaders.

The Turkish company’s Akli Film Production and the Pakistani one, Ansari & Shah Films, are working in tandem to make this historical saga. This venture is part of their ambition to unveil the shared history and culture of the two countries.

Season 2 is set to premiere on September 23, 2024.

The audience can’t wait to witness how the story flows with the new actors playing the new roles. It has been very well recognised for the fact that it has fully developed the characters and events that are based on real historical facts.
