Eid behind bars: Imran Khan gets new festive attire
Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, new clothing and essentials have been delivered to PTI founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail.
According to sources, four new outfits, shoes, and a waistcoat have been sent for Imran Khan to mark the festive occasion.
Sources revealed that a man named Aslam Shah brought the clothes to the jail, where they were handed over to the prison authorities for delivery to Imran Khan.
Earlier, Imran Khan’s legal team has filed petitions regarding access to specific facilities within the jail and concerns about his health.

On Friday, March 28, an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi, presided over by Judge Amjad Ali Shah, granted Imran Khan permission to speak with his sons via phone. The court directed the jail administration to arrange these phone calls, with a preference for them to occur during the upcoming Eid holidays.
Furthermore, court proceedings related to various cases against Imran Khan are expected to resume shortly after Eid, potentially impacting the political climate.
Security around Adiala Jail has been reportedly heightened in anticipation of Eid visits and potential related activity. It is also important to note that the PTI has continued to express concerns about the fairness of Imran Khan’s detention and the ongoing legal proceedings against him.
