Donkey killed by ‘influentials’ over tree cutting dispute

Another animal was brutally killed in Rawalpindi on Monday after its owner went against an ‘influential person’.

The owner, a farmer, attempted to stop the influentials from cutting of one of his trees. The suspect killed farmer’s donkey in the act of revenge.

Based on the complaint filed by the donkey’s owner, a case has been registered at the Chakkri police station against 11 accused persons.

Muhammad Nawaz, Saqlain, Safdar, Shakeel, and 7 unknown individuals were nominated in the case.

The incident took place in the Makhial area under the jurisdiction of Chakkri police station.

Another report of animal cruelty had surfaced in Rawalpindi, where a man cut off both the ears of a donkey after it strayed into its farm.

Similarly, a donkey’s leg was severed in a brutal attack in Hyderabad, Pakistan.
