Pakistani men sentenced to deportation from Dubai for raping roommate
A Dubai court has sentenced two Pakistani workers to three months in prison followed by deportation for sexually assaulting a fellow worker.
The incident occurred on February 3, 2024, in a shared room in labor accommodation.
The court found that the two defendants, who shared the room with the victim, conspired to commit the assault. One defendant threatened the victim with a knife, forcing the other defendant to carry out the sexual assault.
The assault was interrupted by a fellow resident who heard the victim’s cries for help. This led to the arrest of the two defendants.
The prosecution presented strong evidence, including eyewitness testimony and forensic analysis, linking the second defendant to the crime.

As a result, both defendants were sentenced to three months in prison, effective from May 13, 2024, and will be deported after serving their sentences.
