Faisalabad: Another horrifying incident of gang rape during a motorway robbery
A tragic incident of gang rape during a robbery has occurred once again on the motorway.
CPO Faisalabad has taken notice of the alleged gang rape during the robbery and has ordered the immediate arrest of the culprits, while the police have registered a case and initiated legal proceedings.
Yesterday, an alleged gang rape incident took place near Motorway Bridge 62 JB Channan in the Sandal Bar police station area of Faisalabad, Punjab.
A citizen named Adnan was taking his wife home to Chak 62 JB Channan from the Agricultural University Hostel on Jhang Road when three armed robbers on a motorcycle intercepted them, looted their belongings, and tied Adnan to a tree. The assailants then took the woman into a sugarcane field and subjected her to gang rape before fleeing the scene.

Following the incident, the police registered FIR No. 339/25 at Sandal Bar police station on the complaint of the victim’s husband and initiated legal proceedings.
A police spokesperson stated that Faisalabad CPO Sahibzada Bilal Umar has taken notice of the incident and sought a report while ordering SP Iqbal Town Abid Zafar to ensure the immediate arrest of the suspects.
