Karachi Water & Sewerage Board (KWSB) has announced a water supply shortage in Karachi.

According to the KWSB spokesperson, water issues can happen from May 16 to May 19 due to development work.

The New Pump House Gharo will remain suspended due to the development works of K-Electric and KWSB.

People are advised to store water in their houses.

Around 13 million gallons per day (MDG) less water will be provided to the people of Karachi.

The work will continue for three days as new electrical equipment and panels will be installed in the Gharo pumping station.
