Islamabad Airport completes preparation for hajj flights
The Islamabad International Airport has completed preparations for the departure of Hajj pilgrims under the Road to Makkah project, with eight counters allocated for Saudi immigration.
Counters have been allocated for the Saudi immigration staff, who will complete the pilgrims’ immigration process before their departure.
According to authorities, the Saudi immigration staff will process the pilgrims’ immigration at the airport. Hajj flights will begin from Islamabad Airport on May 9, including flights from PIA, Saudi Airlines, Air Blue, Air Sial and Serene Air.
All flights will be operated under the Road to Mecca project for Medina and Jeddah.

A total of 21,000 Hajj pilgrims will have their immigration processed at Islamabad Airport under the Road to Mecca project.
