Police inspector gunned down in Lahore
Unidentified men killed a police inspector in Lahore on Saturday before managing to flee. Police have began investigating the crime.
According to police officials, Sub-Inspector Arshad was returning home after completing his duty when he was targeted in a ruthless attack in Misri Shah. The assailants fired indiscriminately at him, leaving him fatally wounded at the scene.
Police reports indicate that Sub-Inspector Arshad was shot near Moriya Pul and sustained four bullet wounds. He was stationed at the Investigation Wing of Lahore’s Baghbanpura Police Station.

The footage shows the assailants on a motorcycle approaching Sub-Inspector Arshad from behind and firing two shots. As he falls from his motorcycle, the attacker approaches him and fires two additional shots at close range before calmly fleeing the scene.
Authorities are investigating the incident and working to identify and apprehend the perpetrators behind this targeted attack.
