Jubilant Lahoris took to the streets on Sunday night after the police killed members of a gang involved in street crime.

Police killed the members of the gang in an encounter on Sunday. The gang was notorious for shooting people leading to both deaths and injuries during acts of crime.

The gang had reportedly killed at least five people in the span of a few days, injuring multiple others.

They had also shot a duaghter infront of her father a few days ago. They had also killed a constable recently.

After the encounter, people in Shahdara and surrounding areas came out on to the streets in jubilation and chanted slogans in favour of the police.
