Naseer Somroo, once Pakistan’s tallest man, hospitalised after illness

Soomro's has a history of respiratory illness

One of the world’s tallest man, Naseer Soomro, has been admitted to hospital after his health suddenly worsened.

Somroo, 59, was transferred to Gulistan-e-Johar’s private hospital in Karachi after he became ill.

His health has been deteriorating for a few years as he is battling respiratory illness and joint problems.

Naseer Somroo was unable to undergo surgery due to financial problems. His family and he appealed for financial support; however, it was not focused upon.

This Pakistani national has received medical attention before also.

His nephew has requested the government to urgently provide the treatment he needs to save his life.

Naseer Somroo belongs to Shikarpur district, Sindh and is employed by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

At 7’9“, Soomro was once the tallest man in Pakistan. However, he was overtaken by a man named Zia Rashid who is 8 foot tall according to later reports.
