4.7-magnitude earthquake jolts Swat and adjacent areas
No reports of losses or injuries in initial reports
Tremors were felt in several areas of Swat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday. The earthquake was measured at 4.7 magnitude on the Richter Scale.
The National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) reported that a 4.7-magnitude earthquake jolted Swat and the adjoining areas. No loss or injury was reported in the initial reports.
The depth of the quake was recorded at 192 kilometres while the epicentre of the quake was in the Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan.
