FIR registered in Karachi Insaf house attack
Karachi police have registered the first information report against unknown assailants attacking police personnel outside Insaf House Karachi.
The case has been registered under sections 147 (Punishment for rioting), 148 (Rioting, armed with a deadly weapon), 149 (Every member of unlawful assembly guilty of the offence committed in prosecution of common object), 353 (Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), and 186 (Obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions) of the Pakistan penal code.
The FIR registered on the official’s complaint stated that about 20 to 25 unknown individuals arrived outside the Insaf house and chanted slogans of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Zindabad and demanded to release of Imran Khan.
It added that they were equipped with batons and firearms. They had pounced on policemen outside the Insaf House.
Unknown individuals have pelted stones at police and tortured policeman Adil-ul-Rehman and torn his uniform.
