Army chief meets squash champion Hamza Khan

Army Chief General Asim Munir, met World Junior Squash Champion Mohammad Hamza Khan at the General Headquarters on Friday.

COAS congratulated the young champion for his outstanding achievement bringing honour for the country,“ a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations quoted the COAS as saying.

“Talents like you make us all proud and your great achievement also underscores the great potential that this nation has”, General Munir remarked.

The statement added that the army chief assured Hamza of support in academics and support.

“Our youth is the future of this country and with focus, dedication and hard work there is nothing that Pakistan cannot accomplish,” General Munir said.

Hamza brought the junior squash championship to Pakistan after 37 years after defeating Egypt’s Muhammad Zakaria in Melbourne.
