PTI’s alliance with Israel exposed, says climate minister
The “unholy alliance and nexus between the PTI and Israel” has been exposed after Israel raised concerns over the alleged violation of human rights of PTI and its supports, Federal Minister for Climate Change Senator Sherry Rehman said on Tuesday.
“The supporting statement of Israel for the PTI from a platform such as the UN, has cleared who was against the May 9 [riots] and who benefited from these riots,” she stated during a press conference in Islamabad.
She called it a “condemnable and laughable reaction” from Israel which itself is violating the human rights of the Palestinians. “They [the PTI and Israel] are in a nexus which has been exposed in front of all.”
The countries which oppress the Muslims around the world are supporting the PTI and its chairman, Rehman said, adding: “It is now known why foreign funding was given [to PTI], and why Imran Khan is called an Israeli agent”.
She said that PTI will accept even Israel and India’s support to reach their goals. “They [PTI] wanted to derail the International Monetary Fund programme by writing letter to the global lender to cut off Pakistan from the deal.”
She went on to add that the PTI has now hired lobbies in the US and other countries to spread its narrative and defame Pakistan over the alleged human right violations.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Interior Attaullah Tarar called Israel’s statement over Pakistan’s political condition a “serious matter”.
“We were saying from day one that the May 9 riots were carried out by those who were allies of the country’s enemies. It is now evident from the Israeli statement that the attacks on military installations on May 9 were not a coincidence but a proper plan,” he added.
Tarar said that the Israeli citizens gave funding to the PTI to make policies based on their agendas. “Based on the proofs against this party [PTI] from foreign funding to the May 9 riots, it is understood that they are in alliance with the global anti Pakistan establishment.”
