Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairperson Imran Khan has demanded the government to boycott Indian products after the BJP leaders’ Islamophobic comments. He also called on the Sharif family to sever their ‘personal’ ties with Indian PM Narendra Modi.

“The Arab countries have taken strict action against the Indian government,” the former prime minister said while addressing a convention of lawyers in Islamabad on Tuesday. The whole nation is looking to the government to take harsh action against the Modi-led Indian government, he added.

The PTI chairman said that the Sharif family should sever ties with Modi.

“Leave your personal ties aside and announce boycotting Indian-made products.”

The ousted premier repeated his past accusation that his government was overthrown through a foreign-funded conspiracy.

Lashing out at the government for raising the prices of petroleum products, Khan said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) had asked the PTI-led government to raise prices. “We refused to raise prices and took a stand against the conditions given by IMF.”

Imran didn’t announce the much-awaited date of his second protest march to Islamabad. Instead, he told his supporters to be ready for his ‘Haqiqi Azadi March’.
