Hania Aamir, Ali Rehman promote new film in the back of a truck
Actors Hania Aamir and Ali Rehman promoted their upcoming film Parde Main Rehne Do in a unique style, dancing to the title track ‘Peela Rung’ in the back of a truck in Karachi on Sunday.
Videos of the duo dancing on their way to Lucky One Mall went viral on social media.
Director of the film, Wajahat Rauf shared videos of the title track reveal on his Instagram profile. The venue seemed totally packed.
“What an incredible crowd at the launch of our title song 'Peela Rung' at Lucky One Mall,” wrote Rauf in the caption.
Aamir looked stunning in an all-white pishwas with a low-cut back. The actor donned an embellished dupatta and did her hair up in a bun with three white roses tucked elegantly at one side. The male lead, Rehman opted for a simple white kurta shalwar that went well with Aamir’s outfit.
While most people loved her look, some accused Aamir of copying Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt in her styling.
The official trailer of Parde Main Rehne Do was released last month and from the looks of it, the film seems like a promising watch.
Releasing across Pakistan on Eidul Fitr, the film tells the story of a married couple struggling to get pregnant. It tackles the taboo subject of infertility in a humorous yet emotional manner, which would be a refreshing addition to Pakistani cinema.
