Bollywood actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and singer Shibani Dandekar are now married. The couple made it official on Saturday in a stunning ceremony at the groom’s parents Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s farmhouse in Maharashtra.

Glimpses of the wedding have made it to social media and they are giving us major FOMO.

The couple exchanged vows in the main garden of the farmhouse, under an arch, laden with beautiful flowers. Akhtar chose an all-black tuxedo for the event, while Dandekar decided to keep things traditional by opting for scarlet, yet modern by making it into a dress with a red veil.

The groom entered the wedding, dancing to the song Sooraj Ki Bahoon Mein, from his hit film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara starring Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin.

According to Indian news outlet, Times of India, the couple chose to dance on John Legend’s song All of Me for their first dance. Javed Akhtar, the father of the groom recited a poem in the honour of the newly wedded couple after which Akhtar with his co-star Hrithik Roshan decided to shake a leg on their hit song “Senorita.”

Video of this dance has gone viral and social media users are raving about it.

Times of India also revealed that while the wedding was a private affair with only 50 guests, the couple has scheduled a grand wedding reception for later this month.
