Social media users are “stupefied” with the “shocking” details of PTI MNA Aamir Liaquat’s wedding to 18-year-old Syeda Dania Shah.

Liaquat announced his third marriage on social media a few hours after his second wife Syeda Tuba Anwar revealed she had parted ways with the TV show host following a Khula.

The 49-year-old televangelist took to his Instagram and said, “Last night I tied the knot with Syeda Dania Shah, 18," he said. "She belongs to an honourable Najeeb ut Tarfain 'Sadaat' family of Lodhran, South Punjab. Saraiki, lovely, charming, simple and darling. I would like to request all of my well wishers please pray for us, I have just passed the dark tunnel, it was a wrong turn,” he added, tagging several news publications in his post.

Liauqat’s post spread like wildfire through the internet. Social media users speculated if the “dark tunnel” the PTI leader passed through was his split with Anwar.

“My close family and friends are aware that after a separation of 14 months, it was evident that there was no hope for reconciliation in sight and I had to opt to take khula from court,” she had posted on social media on Wednesday.

Liaquat paying no heed to his former wife’s post, announced his third marriage on the same day.

What social media users found “shocking” was that Shah had been previously featured in several posts on Liaquat’s Instagram.

The Alim Online host had been posting videos and pictures of Shah hinting that something was “coming soon” and was “on the way.”

Such posts by Liaquat go as far back as January 12th.

Thanks to the entire ordeal, Liauqat has become a target of online trolls once again.

Users scrutinized Liaquat’s posts and asked some burning questions.

People posted about the age gap between the two, and many pointed out that Shah “is old enough to be his daughter.”

Shah posted a video of herself getting a bridal makeover and said in the caption that, “my husband is my ideal since my childhood.”

Several videos of the couple were also shared on social media, that made many feel “unsettled.”

Responding to the video, many users pointed out that Shah looks “pretty disturbed” and “not happy at all.” While some went as far as to called Liaquat a “pedophile” and that he “bought” the girl.

Following the trolls, Liaquat took to Twitter and said, “I got married the third time and it’s as if a wildfire has broken out in Australia’s forests. Rumors, suspicions, gossip and jealousy are burning. Some are thinking how to get married a second time after the first. They are thinking about it with longing.”
