Indian Twitter slams Katrina and Vicky for 'absurd' restrictions on guests
The media in India claims Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are set to tie the knot on Thursday at Hotel Six Senses Barwara Fort in Sawai Madhopur. The couple has set unique restrictions on hotel staffs and the guests attending the wedding, and Twitter is abuzz with hilarious memes.
This meme depicts exactly how the guests would be attending the wedding.
According to Indian news platform india.com, the guests were made to sign a non-disclosure agreement and the couple has set SOPs for everyone attending. There’s a ban on taking photos and videos or sharing them on social media. Guests have also been asked to not share the location, and not to leave the venue till the wedding is over.
Once the event is wrapped up, they can share pictures only after the approval of wedding planners.
If the invited guests have to put up with so many restrictions, this Twitter user wonders what the uninvited guests would have to go through to get to the wedding.
People are also speculating what the bridal dress would look like.
Somehow Pakistan was also mentioned in memes trolling Kaif and Kaushal.
This user had lesser restrictions growing up in a middle class Indian household than guests at Kaif and Kaushal’s wedding.
Is it a wedding or a secret mission, many people on Twitter wondered.
One user revealed the real location of the wedding.
The Indian news platform news18 reported the couple has officially sold their ceremony's telecast rights to Amazon Prime.
The wedding video will reportedly premiere on the digital platform in 2022.
