COVID-19: Pakistan reports 11.2% positivity ratio, 41 deaths in 24 hours
- The national positivity rate has soared up to 11.2% from 10.4% within 24 hours
- 41 deaths have been reported due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours
- The NCOC has issued orders for a complete ban on social, political, and cultural gatherings both indoor and outdoor in cities where the reported positivity rate exceeds 8%
Pakistan on Monday has reported 4,525 new cases and 41 COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to statistics shared by National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the country's nerve center for unified efforts against coronavirus, 40,369 coronavirus tests were taken, 4,525 new confirmed cases were registered, and 41 deaths were reported countrywide in the last 24 hours.
There are currently 3,055 critical patients of COVID-19 admitted at different hospitals in the country.
With these latest statistics, the country's total number of confirmed cases stands at 659,116. Pakistan has so far recorded 14,256 coronavirus-related deaths, and a total of 598,197 patients have recovered from the novel disease.
The country has so far conducted 1,01,07,095 coronavirus tests countrywide.
The positivity ratio reported in the last 24 hours is 11.2%.
