COVID-19: Pakistan reports 7.1% positivity rate, 58 deaths in the last 24 hours
Pakistan on Tuesday has reported 2,511 new cases and 58 COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours as the third wave continues.
According to statistics shared by National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the country's nerve center for unified efforts against coronavirus, 35,303 coronavirus tests were taken, 2,511 new confirmed cases were registered, and 58 deaths were reported countrywide in the last 24 hours.
There are currently 1,895 critical patients of COVID-19 admitted at different hospitals in the country.
With these latest statistics, the country's total number of confirmed cases stands at 609,964. Pakistan has so far recorded 13,595 coronavirus-related deaths, and a total of 573,014 patients have recovered from the novel disease.
The country has so far conducted 9565066 coronavirus tests countrywide.
According to the statistics shared by the Ministry of National Health Service, the current positivity rate is 7.1%.
