This fall, the second wave of coronavirus is wreaking havoc on several countries and Pakistan is no exception. It's proving to be deadlier than the first one as tens of people are succumbing to the viral infection daily.
Pakistan's latest coronavirus statistics provided by the federal government are as follows:
Confirmed Cases: 445,977
Cases reported in the last 24 hrs: 2,731
Deaths: 9,010
Deaths reported in the last 24 hours: 105
Active Cases: 48,369
Recoveries: 388,598
The last time Pakistan reported over 100 COVID-19 deaths in a single day was five and a half months ago i.e. on June 30 when 143 fatalities were reported in a day.
