Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar said on Thursday that Zainab was a daughter of the nation and whole of the nation felt ashamed on this incident.

During the hearing of a case related to the affiliation of medical college in the supreme court, Justice was speaking about Kasur incident.

The Chief Justice asked the reason behind the Lawyers’ strike, senior Lawyer Aitzaz Ahsan replied that it is due to Kasur incident.

On which Nisar said that Zainab was a nation’s daughter and whole of the nation overwhelming, his wife is more worried than him, lawyers must protest but a strike is not fair.

While giving remarks, he said, “The Judges should never be arrogant because arrogance leads to death, it’s Lawyers’ responsibility to prevent violence, they tie hands and ask to stop violence.”
