BAHAWALPUR:Under the auspices of Private Schools and Colleges Management Association a four-day sports gala has been kicked off in Khanpur that was being participated  by sports team of private schools and colleges of the region.

According to a press release issued here on Thursday, President, Private Schools and Colleges Management Association Khanpur, Niaz Ahmed Aheer and Vice Presidents including Aftab Ahmed and Niaz Muhammad said in a statement that a four-day sports gala has started in Khanpur that was being participated by sports teams of private schools and colleges of the region.

“Several teams from schools and colleges have been participating in sports gala being played at City Park ground Khanpur,” they said.

They further said that sports games including football, cricket, hockey, badminton and others were being at the sports gala. They said that sports event provided entertainment to local people.

The event was also being attended by parents of the students and notables of the city.-AFP
