Besides, negative/positive elements, there are these weird mental disorders that make you shiver up and down your spine. 

Erotomania

In erotomania, patient is suffering from feeling that someone of higher rank is in love with him/her. Patients with these disorder also believe on their imaginary admirers that they show attitude towards them through secret signs and codes. The disorder is surely tough to deal with because if the lover directly says "no", they would still consider it some secret message to hide their relationship from society. You can actually see this condition in 'Marion Cotillard’s character' in the movie 'From the Land of the Moon'.

Capgras delusion

The patient claims that someone or they themselves have been replaced with lookalike in the capgras delusion. In such situation patient thinks the bad deeds linked to them are being done by that doppelganger. Also, capgras delusion is often accompanied by schizophrenia. Moreover, you can find the essence of it in the movie 'the double' based on the novel of F. M. Dostoevsky.

Adele Syndrome

A person experiences a pathological love affection. According to doctors, this mental disorder is a threat to patient's life and health as it make them indulge in alcoholism, gambling, and kleptomania. It symptoms also includes depression. It can further expand to ignoring friends, delusive hopes, persecution of a person, loss of interest in other activities and topics. In the film,  'The Story of Adele H', you can see how it impacts on the person.

Alice in Wonderland syndrome

This syndrome, Alice in Wonderland results in changed perception of a patient about objects and space in his/her surrounding. They consider those objects smaller or larger, sometimes far away or very close - in the strange way. In the syndrome, difficulty occurs when patient thinks his own has shaped improperly. In Alice in Wonderland disorder, patient's organ or other senses remain same but mental state does get change.

Multiple personality disorder

Multiple personality disorder is rare but complex. In this particular case, there is presence of multiple personalities in single body. Also these personalities have everything from genders to world views, different. It happens due to severe childhood trauma and a child begins to think what happened to them if this particular incident had happened to someone else for the purpose of psychological protection. Furthermore, this case was highlighted in USA back in late 70s when rapist Billy Milligan was arrested and it was found out that he had 24 other personalities.
