WEB DESK: How to spend weekend? The question surely hits everyone whenever weekend approaches. Many people have plans finalized but some prefer to stay at home, relax and watch a movie. And, how fun it would be to a horror film. 

So for this weekend, we have compiled a list of five movies which are based on true events and scary enough to give goosebumps to you.

The Conjuring (2013)

A thriller it is, 'the conjuring' is the first on the list as real life ghost busters ED and Lorraine warren recalled that it was a toughest case they solved till date.

Annabelle (2014)

Whoever loved Dolls in childhood days can't believe that a pleasant looking doll could be this horrible. However, the story of Annabelle was slightly highlighted in 'the conjuring' but the complete story of this cursed doll was shown in a separate film 'Annabelle' which came out in 2014.

The Conjuring 2 (2016)

The second part of 'the conjuring' was released back in 2016 and it scary enough as well. The film too has events that have happened in real life.

The Possession (2012)

Another extremely horror flick was 2012's 'the possession'. It is the of 'the dybbuk box' which is in demonic possession and it bring harm to anyone who possess it.

The Hills Have Eyes

It was said that this movie was similar to 'the wrong turn', released in 2003 but it wasn't correct. The Hills have Eyes too is a real story. It tells the event when nearly 1000 people were killed and eaten by the hillbillies within 24 years.
