The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) raided an illegal call centre in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and detained 41 individuals allegedly involved in an international fraud operation targeting foreign nationals.

According to investigators, the suspects posed as representatives of American companies and institutions to deceive overseas victims through fake calls and online scams.

The raid was carried out at a call centre operating under the name “One Ten Communications” in Block 4 of Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Officials said the facility was not merely a call centre but the hub of a large-scale international cyber fraud network.

An FIR, numbered 28/2026, has been registered under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and other relevant legal provisions.

Investigators said the suspects used fake scripts and customer relationship management (CRM) systems to trap victims and obtain sensitive information, including social security numbers and banking details.

The accused allegedly used stolen personal data of foreign citizens to carry out financial fraud.

According to the FIR, the operation was being run by the prime suspect, Murtaza Hussain alias Haani.

Authorities said digital devices, mobile phones and other evidence were seized during the raid. All digital material has been sent for forensic analysis.

The NCCIA’s cybercrime wing is conducting further investigations into the case.
