KARACHI: Martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali (RA) is being observed across the country with due solemnity on Saturday.

Various programmes have been chalked out in connection with the day where Ulema and scholars will shed light on the life and services of Hazrat Ali (RA) for Islam.

Hazrat Ali (Peace Be Upon Him) was martyred on the 21st of the holy month of Ramazan more than thirteen centuries ago.

Prophet Muhammad’s (p.b.u.h) son-in-law and cousin, Imam Ali is highly respected for his courage, knowledge and deep loyalty to the Prophet (p.b.u.h) as well as for administering justice.
