Mahira Khan's Bollywood debut came when she gotÂ the chance to work opposite with Shah Rukh Khan In Raees.Â Mahira was supposed to promote the film in India with her co-star SRK but Â the Uri Attacks shattered her dream as Pakistani artists face life threats in India.Â

Mahira was in Dubai yesterday to promote the movie through radio shows and print interviews, separately away from the rest of the Raees team.

In an interview with a leading Pakistan daily, Mahira was asked about what it was like working with SRK. To this, she replied, "Ask me something else, I have talked about it so much Iâ€™ll say the same things."

When asked about hisÂ quirks, she said, "He is magic really, honestly. He spoil me for life. He used to tell me to do things this way, do it that way. At one point I asked him, am I not doing it right? He said â€˜Look I am only telling you what I know, from my experience. You do it your way but all I want is when you see yourself onscreenÂ you donâ€™t come to me and say, why didnâ€™t you tell me!â€™ Other than that, heâ€™s so bloody smart. Thereâ€™s nothing you canâ€™t talk to him about."

"Weâ€™ve had amazing conversations. Itâ€™s so much fun to talk to someone whoâ€™s intelligent. Itâ€™s not just about films, he can talk about anything! He was watching [Netflix TV series] Narcos while we were shooting, he can talk about books and history. OfÂ course, Iâ€™ve always been a fan. But if you watch his interviews, you can tell heâ€™s witty, smart. It was a pleasure working with someone you can have a conversation with. I think heâ€™s hilarious, sometimes at my expense," she added.
