MUMBAI: The most popular, famous and in demand actress Mahira Khan is all set to give her first Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan in his upcoming film 'Raees', produced by Excel Entertainment.

According to the International Media reports and Bollywood Entertainment buzz and gossips, it came out that the National Award winner Rahul Dholakia finalized Mahira Khan as the leading female cast for the film 'Raees', whereas earlier reports regarding the movie suggested that Sonam Kapoor or Kirti Sanon has bagged the big role with Shah Rukh Khan.

The story character script explains that Shah Rukh Khan will be performing the leading role as a Gujrati Don, whereas Nawazuddin Siddiqui will play the role of a cop.

Meanwhile, the makers of the film revealed that Mahira Khan has been awarded with this cast because of her perfect looks and personality, which resembles the character script of the leading actress role in the particular movie.

It is pertinent to know that Mahira Khan came on the screens for the first time in 2011 with her performance in 'Bol'. Continuing her success, Mahira Khan was also given cast as the leading drama heroine for the series of 'Hamsafar', which became the reason for her success and fame ahead.
