KARACHI: Prominent educationist Prof. Anita Ghulam Ali passed away at a local hospital on Friday. She was 75.

Her funeral prayer was offered after Maghrib prayer, which was attended by the relatives and people from different segments of life. She was laid to rest at DHA graveyard.

Prof. Anita was recipient of sitara-e-Imtiaz and Benazir Exellence award. She represented Pakistan at various international forums of education and development.She also remained associated with Radio Pakistan as English News Reader.
