KARACHI: Security forces an accused from Nazimabad, who was involved in the target killing of 23 people, whereas one accused was killed in an exchange of fire in Li market, Aaj News reported.

According to the Rangers sources, a search operation was conducted in Nazimabad, from where they arrested a target killer who was involved in the killing of several political leaders. The sources revealed that the accused arrested was involved in the killing of 23 people including political leaders and police officers. The accused was later shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.

On the other hand, one alleged criminal was killed in an exchange of fire, which took place at Li Market, whereas police arrested one street mugger from Ghizri area, identified as Danish Gabol, who is involved in several theft crimes.

Meanwhile, the Karachi Airport Custom Intelligence officers seized smuggled items, which included 122 mobile phones, 76 laptops and several other electronic items, which were to be sent to different parts of cities through mini trucks.
